Partner

Alessio Pieri, Partner, has been at d’Angelin & Co. since 2017 and a partner since 2021. He has been working with founder and CEO Benoît d’Angelin since 2010. Alessio has more than 15 years of investment banking experience working in London, Paris and Sydney. His knowledge and expertise cover a range of disciplines from corporate finance / M&A to equity and debt capital markets, activism, equity and interest rates derivatives structuring. He has advised clients across a variety of industries on a number of high-profile global transactions.

Alessio holds a BSc in Economics of Financial Markets from Università di Siena, and a MSc in Finance from Università Bocconi. He also spent a year as a visiting student at the Helsinki School of Economics.

Laurent Clarenbach
Partner

Laurent Clarenbach, Partner, has been with d’Angelin & Co. since its inception, he and Benoît having established a close working relationship at Ondra, their previous workplace. Laurent has 20 years of experience in corporate finance advisory at the highest level, with a focus on the industrial and financial institutions sectors. He worked in the investment banking divisions of Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley for 15 years.

He graduated from HEC Lausanne with a degree in Business Administration and has a Master of Science in Banking and Finance from the University of Lausanne (HEC).

Benoit d'Angelin
CEO and Founder

Founder and CEO Benoît d’Angelin established the firm in 2016. He has over three decades of experience at the highest level within the industry. His deep insight into the workings of global businesses and capital markets have earnt him the respect of many of the world’s most successful CEOs, business founders and investors.

Benoît d’Angelin previously co-founded the boutique investment bank Ondra Partners in 2008. He was a Partner at the investment management firm Centaurus, and before that co-head of the EMEA investment banking division at Lehman Brothers from 2000 until 2006. He established Lehman Brothers as a full-service investment bank in the region.
